raawii（ラーウィー）は2017年に Bo Raahauge Rasmussen（ボー・ラーハウグ・ラスムッセン）と Nicholai Wiig-Hansen（ニコライ・ウィグハンセン）によって設立された、デンマークのコペンハーゲンを拠点としているデザインブランドです。 raawiiというブランド名は2人の名前の頭文字から付けられました。デザイナーであり教育者でもあるNicholaiと、経済学者であり開発の専門家でもあるBo の2人は、異なるバックグラウンドを持つ魅力的なクリエイターと仕事をしたいという好奇心と、素晴らしいアイデアを実現したいという深い情熱を共有しています。 彼らの願いは、クリエイティビティの力を使ってデザイン・プラットフォームを構築し、文化的・社会的発展に貢献することです。
この魅力的な吹きガラスのコレクションは、raawiiのデザイナー、ニコライ・ウィグハンセンが考案しポルトガルで作られています。 着色された美しいガラスの器は、さまざまな角度からの(特に容器に水を入れたとき)光の差し込みにより、色と光の美しい相互作用が生まれます。実際、ニコライこのデザインのインスピレーションを得たのは、光がガラスと水を通して屈折する様子に魅了されたからです。また、特徴的なRelæ(リレー)のフォルムは、電気コードを繋ぐ端子部分をモチーフに作られています。
